Much sought-after conductor and chorus master Aidan Oliver will join the Chorus to conduct St Matthew Passion on 1st April. We are very grateful to Aidan, who has stepped in at short notice due to the indisposition of Musical Director Alan Eost.
Aidan has a prestigious career as Director of Philharmonia Voices and holds conducting positions at St Margaret’s Church Westminster, the St Endellion Festival and Dulwich Choral Society.
With experience of preparing groups including the BBC Symphony Chorus, BBC Singers, Britten Sinfonia Voices and the chorus of English National Opera for numerous broadcasts and performances, including several BBC Proms, we know that we're going to be in a safe pair of hands for this special concert.
